I felt this game against philly coming....

It's no secret that the Montreal Canadiens haven't been a top team in the NHL for the past 3 seasons, but they sure do keep their fans wanting more. While the past seasons may not have been kind in terms of standings, moments like the victory over the Philadelphia Flyers remind us that these players are still learning, growing, and are committed to this team, and winning, all while having fun. As the team continues to navigate its rebuilding phase, it becomes clear why we cheer for the Montreal Canadiens in the first place. They are more than just a hockey team, they're a lifestyle.

The Canadiens' 9-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers was the type of game that most fans crave all year. Adding the Slafkovský hat trick, Anderson goal, along side 2 Goals from Gallagher and 2 Goals from Dvorak who freshly returned to the team, this was one the critics never could have predicted.

A 9-3 win in this case doesn't necessarily suggests an offensive onslaught by the Canadiens, but hey a win is a win. This game took me back to April 29, 2022, Carey Price's last game in the National Hockey League (for now....stay hopeful) where the Canadiens took down the Florida Panthers 10-2. While that game meant absolutely nothing for the outcome of the Canadiens' season, there are still people who think, reminisce, and dream about that game everyday.

For the Canadiens, a franchise loaded in history and success, it's been a rough couple of years for the win column but time is the only thing that can help it. Not only are games like these fun for the fans, but can also be a big help for the players who are still in development and are still finding their way.

Games like these are memorable for both the players involved and the fans, adding another chapter to the storied rivalry between teams. Unlike the Maple Leafs fanbase, we are aware that this team may be many years away from finally bringing the title back home to Canada, it's games like this that keep the people thirsty for more.
