Our first Player of the Month is none other than the one and only Cole Caufield! We are so excited to introduce this new monthly feature into our space and hope that you guys are as excited as we are.
Caufield, 23, drafted 15th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2019 entry draft, has brought youth, personality, and unique talent to the team. The fanbase loves him and goalies hate him; what else could you ask for? Cole is currently sitting at 19 goals and 47 points (Hockeydb.com), beating his previous career high of 43 points.

Hockey History
Cole Caufield had spent his entire life on the ice, he started skating at the age of two after watching his older brother, Brock, on the ice. He spent his college years playing at the University of Wisconsin along side his brother while shattering many goal-scoring records for the club. Caufield was also awarder with the Hobey Baker Award which is granted to the Top NCAA Mens Ice Hockey Player with some impressive company in Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau, and Cale Makar.
In 2019 Cole Caufield was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens going 15th overall. Caufield played his first game in the National Hockey League after being called up by the team on April 26, 2021. Then three games later he would be scoring his first goal in the NHL against the Ottawa Senators in OT. Cole has become a big part of this teams core and personality and the fan base adores him.

The Eras Tour - THE event to attend
With Cole Caufield wearing # 22, it almost seemed so perfect for him to end up at one of the most sought after events in the world right now - Taylor Swifts The Eras Tour. Caufield has previously expressed his interest in the artist and her music, so for many fans this truly was no shock. There are many of us waiting for the day we get to hear "22 (Taylor's Version)" as his goal song.
Colegoalfield X Poulet Rouge X Cole Caufield Point Streak
@ColeGoalfield (Alex Jodoin) is taking Montreal Canadiens twitter (X) by storm right now, and for all the right reasons. This story began around January 11, 2024 when Alex had his Game-day Poulet Rouge for the first time - which long story short, led to this photo on the left. As Poulet Rouge was quick to reach out to Alex in regards to a campaign together which further led to him meeting his idol. While Alex started this phenomenon, props to Cole Caufield, Chantal Machabee and their PR team for setting this up.
