The Habitant (not to be mixed up with @the_habitant on twitter) is a new and exclusive space where I will be able to share my passion and knowledge about the habs all while incorporating parts of my own life as well as my friends and my peers in the industry.

How did The Habitant start you may be wondering, (or not but I'm going to tell you anyways.) I had been sitting on the idea of creating something related to the Canadiens where I can share my passion for the team and the sport, and writing about them seemed like a perfect outlet for me. My friend Tanner suggested the name "The Habitant" and it instantly seemed like a perfect fit. I'm very excited to have this platform that I can share with my fellow fans. I may not be the most professional columnist but everyone has to start somewhere right? I have been passionate about writing and have been doing it in my free time for the past couple of years so being able to share my thoughts and ideas in this space is extremely special to me! I have worked extremely hard on making this space as entertaining and useful for everyone and to finally be able to go public feels like a dream!!
